Chicago! (part 2)

As I said yesterday in this post we went on a mini trip for the weekend because my sister got us tickets the bridal show. It was at the Sheraton in downtown Chicago. You know we love bridal shows...I have talked about them before here. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Oak Brook Saturday after a full day of shopping. Sunday morning we woke up and had the buffet breakfast and then headed to the city :) We waited in line for quite sometime thinking the show started at 11...it didn't start until noon. Luckily, the line ended piled up behind us and went on for-e-ver...so it was a good thing we got there early! We were like the first 30 people in the doors when they finally opened. We ate some cake, talked to vendors, looked at pretty flowers, and saw gorgeous dresses. At this show we also tried some gelato and took some pictures in a photo booth. We had a lot of fun!

After the show we had a picture-taking session outside by the river :) love being in the city!

After our pictures we headed back out the burbs. We ate some Giordano's stuffed pizza for lunch! It was amazing!

We then headed back home. I did a bunch of studying and got a few things ready for the week. It was great weekend! Thanks again dad and mom for taking us!!
