Chicago Honeymoon: Day 2, part 2

I'm sorry for jumping around so much!! And, I'm also sorry that I left you hanging on our trip to Chicago! I forgot to post this part 2 from Day 2. If you can remember here is our part 1 from Day 2...here.

After our trip to Shedd Aquarium and The Bean we continued our journey to State Street for some shopping. I had much better luck this day :)

Once we were back at our hotel we found the terrace on the roof

For dinner that night Sean made us reservations at the Signature Room on the top of the Hancock building. This is on our walk to dinner...

Just in case anyone is actually interested...We arrived on time for our reservation, but when we requested a window seat they said it would be about a 45 minute wait. We decided it would be worth it. So we went up to the lounge and had a few drinks (I got a martini and Sean got a beer) and our total was $28! Wow! We only had to wait about 25 minutes until we got a table by the window and it was PERFECT! We got to see the lake, Navy Pier, and the city. We enjoyed every minute of it :) And, the food was AMAZING, too! A quote from Sean: "even the butter for the bread was good!"

Our dessert from the Ghiradelli Chocolate store across the street. We got an ENORMOUS chocolate chip cookie! YUM
The next day we got to sleep in a little bit and got breakfast burritos from across the street then got a taxi to head back to Union Stations to catch our bus.

We had a wonderful trip and were sad to come back :( But, we have another honeymoon to look forward to in about 3 months! Can't wait!
